Chemical compound inorganic formula FeCl₃, which is present as a crystalline solid or dark brown in solution concentrated liquid. It is a coagulant inorganic widely used in the treatment of wastewater and drinking water. It is also used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards (such as etchant), sludge treatment, tanning of leather and in industrial processes that require an oxidizing agent.
Applications:
